In-Depth
- The show left CBS Television City and went to the Sony Pictures Studios, where they have been ever since.
- Charlie's opening announcement was changed again.
- The puzzle board's border was changed again. It was used a similar ribbed pattern to the one used before season 12, but the overall shape was different.
- This was the last season with the diamond-shaped backdrops behind the contestants that were used only for road shows.
- This was the last season with the big $25,000 sign.
- The $1,000 space on the wheel was changed from yellow to sequined green.
- They had a Double Play space on the wheel which would double a contestant's winnings if they solved the puzzle, but that was retired the next season because contestants almost never landed on it.
